Details:
This piece was built during the time of the pandemic. It was built with all, every scrap of the materials I already had stashed in my attic apartment (which doubled as a studio) while under lockdown during Covid 19. To some extent it was a pandemic panic house, a way for me to navigate my panic of a work/live arrangement that was dissolving, creating house and food insecurities as a result of the pandemic. I embrace how ill-fitting and senseless in part this house structure seems. With this work I explore notions of home and perceptions of safety.
